The original Viennese Strudel Show in the Hofbackstube of the Café Residenz is a remarkable performance of the imperial baking art. In this bakery you can not only go on the historical paths, but also participate yourself. Those who register in time may make a Viennese apple strudel on site, bake and of course eat.
Vienna Strudel Show Schönbrunn
In the Schaubackstube the bakers prepare together with the guests the “imperial” pastry. Every hour, the experienced pastry chefs show you how to remove the strudel dough so thin that you can even see and read the recipe through it. At the end everyone can eat a warm piece of the popular delicacy – Maria Theresia enjoyed the apple strudel 🙂
In addition, all participants also receive the original “Vienna Apple Strudel Recipe” so that everyone can try their hand at apple strudel bakeries at home. 🙂
