Holiday Inn Vienna South – August 2019
The Holiday Inn Vienna – South is a tower hotel with 201 rooms located at the office location myhive am Wienerberg. The building has 22 storeys, with hotel rooms located on floors 8-21. On the 22nd floor there is a panoramic breakfast restaurant.
Max Brown 7th District – April 2019
After the first openings in Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Berlin, Vienna now has a first location for the hotel brand Max Brown. The target audience is clearly focused on bourgeois bohemians (bobos). It is to be offered the “Bobos” a “second home”. The hotel offers 140 rooms and suites.
Andaz am Belvedere Vienna – April 2019
The Hotel Andaz am Belvedere Vienna has 303 rooms and suites. The luxury lifestyle hotel was designed by Renzo Piano, a world-renowned architect of the Center Georges-Pompidou in Paris, and impresses with its breathtaking architecture.
Bed and Breakfast, B & B Hotel Vienna – December 2018
With the B & B Hotel Wien-Hauptbahnhof in December 2018, the first location in Austria was opened. The hotel offers 196 non-smoking rooms on eight floors, single, double and family rooms with up to four beds, as well as four barrier-free rooms.
H+ Hotel Vienna – October 2018
The family-run H+Hotels has now opened its first hotel in Vienna. The newly opened hotel is located near the Palais Liechtenstein and the Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof and has 77 barrier-free rooms on seven floors.
Budget Design Hotel Roomz on Austria Campus – October 2018
The hotel Roomz Vienna Prater 270 modern rooms, a restaurant and bar, a sauna and fitness area and meeting rooms.
Hotel niu Franz – August 2018
The new hotel “niu Franz” of the hotel group Novum Hospitality offers 159 rooms and a cocktail bar. The brand works with neighborhood storytelling. Therefore, this hotel is also about imperial-cool anecdotes from the heyday of Vienna, which explains the name “Niu Franz” Hotel.
Ruby Lissi Hotel Vienna
The Ruby Hotel chain has opened another hotel in a historical 18th century building near to Schwedenplatz in the 1st district. The interior of the new Ruby Lissi hotel reflects the building’s era of origin and its main theme involves transporting guests back to the middle to end of the 19th century. It is named after Empress Elisabeth, and although she was generally known as Sisi, Lissi was the customary short form of Elisabeth in Austria. 107 rooms are available.
SMARTments business Wien Hauptbahnhof
The new SMARTments at Vienna Hauptbahnhof, which were opened in December 2017, offer plenty of space. These are furnished, complete apartments, which are ideal for business travellers looking for a new home with kitchen area and cleaning and laundry service for a longer period of time.
MOXY Hotel Flughafen Wien
A separate implementation of an open-minded lifestyle was opened at the beginning of 2017 at Vienna Airport, with a total of 400 rooms. The MOXY Hotel combines the price level of a budget hotel with the demands of a boutique hotel.
ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof – new hotel
The 3-star economy hotel Ibis was opened in the middle of 2017 and is directed at both business travellers and holidaymakers. Ibis Vienna Hauptbahnhof offers 311 comfortably furnished, air-conditioned, and soundproofed rooms.
Novotel am Wiener Hauptbahnhof
At the same time of the opening of the economy hotel Ibis, the AccorHotels hotel group also opened a Novotel hotel at Vienna Hauptbahnhof. The 4-star hotel offers 266 rooms in various categories, from standard rooms to the Junior Suite. A bright and modern design, separate “The Flave of Vienna” restaurant, and a sauna and fitness area including panoramic view of Vienna give this hotel a feel-good atmosphere.

Generally-renovated accommodation, as good as new
arte Hotel Wien
Out of the former Atlantis Hotel Vienna, IPP Hotels formed the arte Hotel Wien, which opened in summer 2017. The hotel, which has 145 rooms, is situated near Wiener Stadthalle and is therefore ideal for overnight stays after concerts. Inspired by rock legends, correspondingly designed ROCK rooms with a large box-spring bed are offered.
ARCOTEL Donauzentrum Wien
The ARCOTEL Donauzentrum was reopened in August 2017. A general renovation was carried out and the hotel now has 158 rooms, 5 seminar rooms, and a hotel restaurant.
Vienna Marriott Hotel
The Vienna Marriott Hotel was refurbished within ten months and reopened in July 2017. The 328 rooms of this hotel on the Ringstraße now radiate a whole new splendour. The focus was primarily on the bathrooms, which were continuously renewed or newly fitted.
Mercure Raphael Hotel Wien
After extensive renovation work, the Mercure Hotel Raphael was reopened in June 2016. Above all, the proximity to Mariahilferstrasse and Westbahnhof make this hotel an attractive option for many tourists.
Hotel Capricorno
The Hotel Capricorno is cheerfully and colourfully presented. This accommodation option underwent general renovations in 2015 and features stylish furnishings.
