Landtmann’s Jausen Station
There was also a Meierei in the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens. For this, the veranda of a garden pavilion was covered in 1927 and operated as a café and Meierei. It was not until 2013 that this location was reactivated and Landtmann’s Jausen Station was opened. From freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn and cold platters to homemade organic lemonade, the new offering is still traditional.

In the 1950s, the milk bars were noticeably coming to an end and new forms, such as espresso bars emerged. Furthermore, many cafes and confectioneries cropped up.
