The two – designed by the French architect Dominique Perrault – Donau City Towers, in short: DC Towers are soon the tallest buildings in Austria. The DC Tower 1 is already completed: since 2013, however, it has not only been considered the tallest building in the country. Rather, it represents another – and most modern – landmark of Vienna dar.

The fascinating steel-concrete construction is based on state-of-the-art computer models and calculations. In addition, the DC Tower 1 combines attractive architecture with sustainable construction and functionality. In 2015, the certification as “Green Building” with the highest status Platinum according to LEED © was successfully completed.

The design hotel Meliá: Vacation in the skyscraper
The Design-Hotel Meliá Vienna is located in DC Tower 1 on 18,300 m² and over 15 floors. It belongs to the leading hotel operator Meliá from Spain. With high-quality rooms, event space and pool no hotel wishes remain open. An exclusive gastronomic area with restaurant and bar pampers guests on the 57th floor. The bar offers a fascinating view over the city.

The second skyscraper of Dominique Perrault is planned with a height of 168 meters. After some delays in the start of construction, a foreign real estate fund bought the land in 2016. The construction of the DC Tower 2 is to begin in the next few years.
