Strawberry fields Vienna – pick your own strawberries

You can pick your own strawberries from mid-May to the end of June. Many families take this opportunity for an outing and collect or snack on lots of strawberries. As there are no harvesting costs, the berries are also cheaper.

Pick your own strawberries in Vienna

When the red fruits are ripe, they taste best in the field. What’s more, you can choose the places and berries yourself, i.e. you simply take the ones you like. It is best to take a bucket or two with you so that you can put the berries in your own containers. The tubs are weighed at the entrance to the field, i.e. you only pay for what you have picked.

Tip: it’s best to take a few kilograms with you and use the fruit fresh to make jam, cakes or milkshakes and you can also freeze the rest.
